Students’ dedication to supporting charities as strong as ever …
A message from our Headteacher
The Blue Coat
I consider it an immense privilege to be part of a community as strong as ours. It has taken over 300 years for our school to grow and evolve, and because of that we have a rich and distinctive history and heritage.
We do not, however, look to the past. The Blue Coat School is an exciting and vibrant place, full of individuals who come together to ensure our students are ready to grasp the opportunities that await them in their futures.
The Blue Coat School PA is a hugely important part of our School community. The PA has played an active role in supporting the School over the last 28 years, organising a fantastic calendar of events to raise funds. As well as assisting the School’s clubs, societies and other fundraising projects, the PA also provides the opportunity for staff and parents to meet together socially. Find out more here.
Friendships that are forged during your school days are some of the strongest of your lifetime and we are delighted that so many of our Old Blues remain friends long after finishing their studies, as well as staying in touch with the School. Our Development Office always enjoys hearing from our Old Blues – please do get in touch and let us know what you’ve been up to! Find out more here.
The Foundation exists, as the charitable arm of the Blue Coat School, to create and use our funds to support our programme of development and maintain the school estate. We support the school in continuously upgrading its facilities to provide a 21st century learning environment for its students and we are the guardians of the School’s important cultural heritage. We reach out and look forward… we are part of a bigger community and an even bigger world
